Welcome to my J-fashion blog! My coords are mainly centred around Ryousangata and Jirai-kei, which I've been wearing for around two years now.
I'm keeping things simple for now while I figure out what content I want to focus on. Maybe once I've collected enough coords, reviews, and resources, I'll expand this into something bigger.
For now, this blog serves as a wardrobe, purchase, and review archive. I have a habit of forgetting where I bought things, how much I paid, or details about a release, so this helps me keep everything in one place.
Along the way, I've picked up plenty of shopping tips, brand knowledge, and general yapping that might be useful to fellow J-fashion enthusiasts or anyone curious about the style.
I hope you find something useful here, or maybe even a some inspiration for your own blog ♡
I was looking for some ribbon hair clips to go with my coords, I love styling my hair in twintails. I think these are really lovely.
This was actually the second time I've paid MORE than the original retail price for an item. I realized that on Mercari, sellers have to add a significant markup to low-cost accessories (especially items under ¥1,000 retail) just to cover domestic shipping and Mercari's platform fees. Because of this disproportionate markup, I think I'll AVOID buying cheap retail accessories secondhand in the future!!
Despite the markup, I'm still quite happy with this purchase. It feels exclusive since it is a limited-edition collaboration with Amahime Kokone, whom you can see wearing them in her Instagram reel here.
Since this was a limited-run release, they won't be sold in stores again. However, if you are looking for a good alternative, they look highly similar to the "Bow Jirai Kei Hair Clip with Rehinstone and Pearl Pendant" available on honeywardrobe.

This is easily my main handbag for going out and matching with my coords. The inside of the bag has a large amount of room, which is a huge upgrade to my previous off-brand handbags, they were always too small to carry my essentials.
I added my own Morrigan keychain to the side, but in case you were wondering, it doesn't come with the bag—I just wanted to show how and where you can hang your own accessories! Another thing to mention, the jewel charms that the bag comes with are completely removable if you prefer a simpler look.
My only slight complaint is that the metal hardware on the sides is beginning to scratch off. Other than that minor wear-and-tear detail, I am incredibly happy with what I paid for it!

Appearance wise, this is a nice button-up shirt and my second piece from ACDC RAG. Originally part of their 2021 S/S "Bleached-Out" collection, the shirt has a fantastic length that allows it to be worn as a dress or tucked easily into pants and skirts for a very stylish, casual look.
The only downside is the quality of the buttonholes, some of them feel poorly finished, which slightly takes away from the garment's overall quality. Still, since I managed to save ¥850 on this purchase, it remains a highly worthwhile addition to my wardrobe.

I was looking around for a new nail set to buy. I love press-on nails (or called "nail tips" in Japan), I really wanted to get something unique and custom-made this time. I remember buying press-ons at convention artist alleys in the past, but unfortunately, I ended up losing a few nails from those older sets.
I decided to invest in a brand new, high-quality set, which is when I stumbled across this gorgeous pair. The design beautifully blends several subculture fashion aesthetics, including yumekawa (dreamy cute), Heisei Joiji (nostalgic schoolgirl), and medical-themed motifs.
These are special, one-of-a-kind handmade nails, whatever you get is exclusive to you!! I looked up the creator, sunail, to verify their work. They humbly describe themselves as an amateur hobbyist in their shop description, the quality and detail are far superior to the mass-produced plastic press-ons you find in standard shopping malls. I love the amount of detail put into this, like the mini 3D charms, they are so pretty that I find myself taking photos of my hands every chance I get!

One of the fashion staples you might have noticed Ryousangata and Jirai-kei girls have is their signature TALL platforms, seriously, they're impressively high! As I was searching for my first pair of statement shoes, I was prioritizing comfort, I KNOW I need something for long hours of walking and also something that works for my cosplays. I was really impressed to learn about YOSUKE USA's platform sneakers, they seemed like the perfect fit for me.
I happened to find a brand new pair of the Black Purple version on Mercari, with the protective tapes still attached to the buckle belts, indicating they were untouched. By closer inspection, I noticed a stitch on the side that reads "3.0," and inside the shoe, the sole displays "30 sanmaru" in gold lettering. After some research, it turns out these are part of YOSUKE's 30th Anniversary collection!
I'm highly impressed with these sneakers, they look so badass. They are incredibly well-cushioned, which is why YOSUKE is so famous for their comfortable-to-walk-in platforms. Everything they say about them is true. I highly urge you to measure both your feet correctly and consider getting a size slightly larger than your biggest foot measurement for the best fit!!

Like my previous purchase, this blouse was an absolute CHORE to find information on. Sadly, I had no luck tracking down the official retail listing, which I ordered around the same time as the other one. If you happen to own this exact blouse, the style code on mine is 15412AV. I would love to hear from you if you know the confirmed price!
For now, I am going to assume it retailed for ¥2,530 (¥2,300 before tax). This estimate is based on how Avail and its parent company, the Shimamura Group, typically structure the pricing tiers for their standard in-house labels!!
Lately, it seems like almost all Ryousangata items rely heavily on polyester. While it is a very common fabric choice for these styles, it is used to a point where the garment ends up looking and feeling a bit cheap. Ordering these clothes online is always a bit of a gamble because finding non-polyester Ryousangata pieces is incredibly RARE. I really hope I can shop for these in person someday just so I can get a better look at the fabrics beforehand.
On the bright side, the quality of this particular blouse isn't too bad compared to my previous purchase. I love this shade of red, it goes beautifully with most of my coords. I am actually trying to hunt down more of these blouses with long sleeves, though Mercari is currently flooded with thousands of short-sleeved ones instead.

Finding info on this product was SUCH A CHORE. I like to keep track of the original retail value of my items, so I was a bit worried at first. Because the Mercari seller immediately deleted the listing after I bought it, I was left without any product details. The only references I could find online were other Size L listings ranging from ¥2,450 to ¥2,599. Fortunately, got mine at only ¥999, which is a great deal compared to the typical Mercari JP market price!
Eventually, I managed to track down some official details through this article.
My blouse's inner label is marked with the product code NO.305473. Looking at the tags, I noticed it was part of a special collaboration labeled "majoretty×人気インフルエンサー寿限無" (referring to the popular influencer 寿限無。, who is translated as Jugemu in English articles). I was quite pleased to find an article featuring a catalog image of the exact same label and my exact blouse, so I can confirm it was part of the "Avail × Jugemu. × majoretty" summer collection released on June 1, 2024.
It was a huge relief to verify this. It turns out the collection was also promoted on X (Twitter) here, where the pieces were advertised to be worn together as matching coordinate sets.
If I'm being honest, this blouse fell a bit short for me. The quality looks slightly cheap compared to other items in my wardrobe. I'm planning to sell it eventually, especially if I can find something more flattering in a similar style and maybe a different brand.

I needed a skirt for my coord, and after hearing that EVERY Ryousangata/Jirai-kei girl owns something from Liz Lisa, I knew I had to get a piece for myself. I've always DREAMED of owning something from the brand, so this felt like a bit of a milestone purchase.
This skirt originally came with detachable suspenders, but the previous owner had lost them. Thankfully, the listing was very clear about that, so there were no surprises this time. Even without the suspenders, I thought the price was really reasonable. I hadn't seen this particular design before, and after some Instagram scrolling, I found out it's from Liz Lisa's 2021 Spring/Summer collection.
The skirt itself is very comfortable and has quickly become one of my most-worn pieces. It works with a lot of my coords, making it a surprisingly versatile wardrobe staple.
One thing to note is that it does require a bit of extra care. The lace details are delicate and can snag easily, and I've heard stories of the decorative belt coming loose over time. The care label also warns about colour transfer, moisture, and handling the lace gently. It's not a difficult piece to own, but it's definitely one you'll want to treat with a little extra love.
Overall, I'm really happy with it. Missing suspenders aside, it was a great introduction to Liz Lisa, and I can see why the brand is so popular within the Jirai-kei community.

This is my first Ryousangata OP, and I'm SO genuinely impressed with the quality. The seller preserved it beautifully, and it LOOKS exactly like the store photos. I managed to save around ¥2,000 buying it second-hand too, which made it an even better find.
One thing that surprised me was the weight. The fabric and layered construction make it feel much more substantial than I expected, which gives it a really nice silhouette when worn!!
The only downside is that it's quite a high-maintenance piece. The care label recommends careful storage, no tumble drying, and extra caution around moisture, friction, and snagging. It's definitely not a "throw it in the wash and forget about it" kind of dress, but that's the trade-off with more delicate J-fashion pieces.
Overall, I'm really happy with it. This is my first piece from DearMyLove, and it's already left a great impression on me.

Okay guys, I'm kind of guilty here... I was sorting listings from lowest to highest price when I spotted this bag for surprisingly cheap lolol. The seller titled it something along the lines of: *"Sanrio Kuromi Tote Bag - Eco-friendly, sickly cute, mass-produced, landmine, gothic lolita, punk, dark dreamy cute, convenient."* Which was a little alarming at first. It was pretty obvious they were trying to clear it out quickly. I was slightly frustrated afterwards, but that's part of the second-hand shopping experience, right?
I decided to document it here because after way too many reverse image searches and product checks, I was able to confirm that it's actually an official Sanrio item from 2023. It was released through an Avail collaboration as part of the Shimamura Group's 70th Anniversary campaign (here's a close up). Apparently they even sold complete Jirai-kei/Landmine-style coord sets for ¥7,700, which I had no idea existed. That's honestly pretty cool.
What the seller conveniently left out was that this bag originally came as part of a five-piece set. My guess is they wanted to keep the outfit and sell off the accessories separately. Still, finding out it was some peace of mind. With the amount of counterfeit Sanrio merchandise floating around these days, I always like to verify things before adding them to my collection.
As for the bag itself, it's cute but definitely not the sturdiest piece. The fabric has a silky feel to it, it's quite thin and prone to snagging. I wouldn't trust it with anything heavy or sharp.
Overall, I think it works best as a fashion accessory, for photoshoots, conventions, or pairing with a coord rather than as an everyday tote. If there's one lesson here, it's to always research second-hand items before buying. Consider this a note to both my readers and my future self.

This is my first ACDC RAG purchase. I've always LOVED their designs, EVERYONE TALKS ABOUT THEM!! Anyways, I love how detailed and eye-catching their graphics are. When I think of Harajuku fashion, ACDC RAG is one of the brands that immediately comes to mind, so I was excited to spot this piece on Mercari. I managed to save ¥2,150 compared to retail, which made it an easy purchase.
This T-shirt is part of ACDC RAG's collaboration series with illustrator なかみタケオ (Nakami Takeo), featuring their OC Saikyo Rei-chan. The artwork comes from their 2022 A/W collaboration collection and was their first project together. The illustrator sells their clothing at venues too!!
The shirt itself has an oversized, wide silhouette that makes it very comfortable to wear. It's a versatile piece that works well with yami-kawaii, cyber, and other Harajuku-inspired coords~ Overall, I'm really happy with it, both as a wearable piece and as a collector of artist collaborations.
