Hi, I'm Pinkfiremage (Mingo) — I mostly do solo VN stuff, and I mess around with QA testing for games and software. Right now I’m… trying to breathe new life into one of my old projects (details soon… maybe), and in the meantime I help other devs make their games less broken. or at least better.

I’ve always felt games are kind of magical… Like, they don’t just tell a story; you actually live it, even if just a little. That’s why I keep doing this, even when it’s exhausting or weirdly stressful.

Also… the internet thing. Back when it felt new, everyone was excited to make their own websites. Now it’s kind of… Not really a thing anymore, huh? A few years ago, around 2023, I stumbled onto Neocities (after Geocities got swallowed by the void), and to me it felt like finding a tiny time machine. ^^

Seeing view counters, webrings, and guestbooks coming back… it makes me unexpectedly happy. Apparently I’m not the only one who misses that era. For me, it’s not just nostalgia—the 90s/2000s internet had this… messy, colourful energy that just felt fun. So my site… it’s my corner to keep that spirit alive, in my own weird little way.
